Unilever Supports the Asian Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility for the Fourth Year in Row

Singapore, Nov 19, 2008 (ACN Newswire via COMTEX) -- UL | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Unilever has once again demonstrated its support of corporate social responsibility as a Strategic Corporate Partner (Platinum Sponsor) of the seventh annual Asian Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility (AFCSR) to be held along with the Asian CSR Awards at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel in Singapore on November 20 & 21, 2008. This is the fourth year in a row that Unilever has supported the AFCSR.

As a result of Unilever;s support together with other sponsors, the organizers have been able to assemble confirmed 88 speakers and moderators from 20 countries. Unilever brings in two speakers to share their CSR expertise at AFCSR in Singapore. They are Ms. Sinta Kaniawati, General Manager Uli Peduli Foundation, PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (Indonesia) and Mr. Josef Bataona, HR & CR Director, PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (Indonesia). Mr. Bataona is one of the nine plenary speakers of AFCSR which include:

About the Asian Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility

The Asian Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility (AFCSR) is recognized as the largest and most significant conference and awards program on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Asia.
