SunCal currently has 20 California projects in bankruptcy, including McAllister Ranch in southwest Bakersfield, that were ventures with now-bankrupt investment bank Lehman Brothers. SunCal also put three other entities into voluntary bankruptcy Wednesday.
Nolan had been with the company more than five years, the release said, meaning he was on board when now-disputed Lehman loans for McAllister Ranch were made in 2006 and 2007.
