During the promotion, employees and customers at participating TravelCenters of America (TA) and Petro Stopping Centers made $1 donations to St. Jude to support its fight against catastrophic childhood diseases. Customers could make the donation while dining at the company's full-service restaurants or while visiting the travel stores. In return, the donors had the opportunity to write their names on pumpkin-themed pinups, which were displayed through the month of October.
"TravelCenters of America and Petro are very proud to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in its mission to save children's lives. Our participation in the annual pumpkin promotion gives our hard-working employees and customers the opportunity to do something good for the children treated by St. Jude's and take an active role fighting childhood cancers.
