--Charity still seeks donations and toys: Operation Santa Claus, the 51-year-old nonprofit run by Fort Bliss soldiers that distributes toys to area families, recently launched its Web site where people can learn about the program and offer donations to the charity. Operation Santa Claus' Web site is ftblopsanta.synthasite.com.
People can also take their donations of toys to any El Paso fire station, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, or to the Fort Bliss Operation
Santa warehouse, Building 1123, on weekdays.

--Thanksgiving Brunch: EL PASO -- The Officers' Club will have its Thanksgiving Brunch featuring breakfast items, turkey and holiday dishes from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Building 250 on Club Road. The brunch costs $14.95 for Officers' Club members and $16.95 for nonmembers. The feast is open to all soldiers and their families as well as off-post guests.

--NFL games: EL PASO -- DirecTV's Sunday Ticket, which features games from the National Football League, will be offered each Sunday at the Down Under Sports Bar at the Officers' Club, Building 250 on Club Road, and at the Pub at the Centennial Club, Building 11199 on Biggs Army Air Field. Games begin at 11 a.m. and both venues offer snacks, beverages and weekly door prizes.

--Framing discounts: EL PASO -- Discounts on frame services, pictures and sports memorabilia are being offered at Framing Bliss as part of an annual Christmas sale that ends Tuesday. Framing Bliss, Bldg. 820, is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

--Giant yard sale: The Benavidez-Patterson "All Airborne" Chapter, 82nd Airborne, will have its Giant Yard Sale to raise money for a scholarship fund from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 6 at 2608 Fort Blvd. Items may be donated from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2608 Fort Blvd.
