That's when the new Western Sizzlin is set to open in Anniston.
The new site, in the former Ryan's Restaurant building on south Quintard Avenue, is owned by Bill Folsom, who also owns the Oxford location and several other franchises in the state.
Folsom said he has owned the Oxford restaurant for about seven years.
He bought Ryan's with the intention of opening another Western Sizzlin, he said.
He did his homework, including traffic surveys and a review of the numbers that Ryan's was doing, he said, "so I think it will support itself."
Folsom said the new restaurant is in a "good central location to the city," and while it is only two miles from the Oxford location, it's a drive that can take up to 15 minutes during the lunchtime rush.
"Anniston needs a great sit-down buffet restaurant," he said, and he believes the location will thrive.
The Anniston location will be a "little bit different," from Oxford, he said. It will offer buffet only, with servers carving to or three different types of meat every day, including prime rib on Sundays.
Folsom said the food will be "just as fresh as it gets. You cook it, goes right to the foodbar."
He hopes to employ 80 people once the restaurant is up and running.
The Anniston Western Sizzlin will not offer breakfast and will be open from 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m., Sunday through Thursday and until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, he said.
