The company said the new mobile Web sites are free for iPhone and Google Android phone users and provide access to more than two million home listings nationwide. According to a release, visitors can search homes for sale nationally, and also have the ability to view home estimates from RealEstate.com's Home Price Check tool, which includes more than 97 million values from across the country.
"In light of today's tough housing market, RealEstate.com is doing everything it can to help consumers get their hands on current and useful data so they can make smart decisions when looking for and purchasing homes," says Greg Hanson, vice president of product excellence, RealEstate.com. "Our goal is to empower consumers with information about their home search when they want it and how they want it. Today's enhancements to our mobile suite enables an additional 11 million users to view property information on the fly, combined with the more than 50 million who already have access to our mobile data services through AT&T and Sprint."
The RealEstate.com Mobile application is currently available to 50 million AT&T and Sprint subscribers and now can be used by iPhone and Google Android users. In the coming months, the company said that RealEstate.com Mobile will also be customized for use with BlackBerry devices.
RealEstate.com provides a suite of real estate services, tools and helpful advice.
