According to Vertical, its Wave software is scalable from 10 to 350 users on one system, enabling customers to support all users, regardless of the type of device used and location they are working from.
Wave 1.5 software update includes PBX features such as: Coach and monitor and join - Wave users can coach a call, monitor a call or join any active call on the system as a full participant; System Call Recording - Wave can now support system-wide call recording of up to 27 active calls; Fax Redirect; and Multiple Call Appearances on Vertical SIP phones.
New ViewPoint Features include: Call Rules, users can customise the call handling according to who is calling or when; Routing Lists, calls can be routed to a series of numbers, groups or voicemail in sequence; and Call Twining, users can configure personal settings so that incoming calls will ring simultaneously at multiple internal and external endpoints.
Vertical said Wave is now certified to be deployed throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas and will support different languages in terms of GUI and prompts, along with country-specific tones and settings.
Endpoint support is available for Aastra 5 Series phones, Comdial Impact digital phones and Spectralink digital cordless phones.
