SQLServerPedia.com is an extensive resource that uses real-world insight to help visitors sift through and make sense of all the information available today on SQL Server. Resources include everything from video training, podcasts and presentations to sample scripts for backup and recovery, index maintenance and performance tuning.
The editors of SQLServerPedia include MVPs and domain experts who each have over 10 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server. Editor-in-chief duties are performed by SQL Server domain expert Brent Ozar of Quest Software.
One of the new things about SQLServerPedia is that it incorporates a SQL Server community wiki. The wiki has no access fees or premium access memberships, all content is available to everyone for free. Community members can share their own SQL Server know-how and build their online presence by contributing and editing wiki articles.
Mark Jewett, Director, SQL Server Marketing at Microsoft, said, "Quest Software has years of experience working with SQL Server and helping users learn how to maximize the latest enhancements. Its new resource, SQLServerPedia, is excellent for SQL Server professionals looking to get unbiased, valuable information from their peers and some of the industry's top-notch experts. This is a comprehensive, unique online resource where those in the SQL Server community can get the most up-to-date information on all things SQL Server--and, ultimately, solutions to their real-world problems."
