The dental clinic, which is situated at 4875 Maxwell, behind Jack in the Box, seeks to promote good health and provide care to those that need it most.
Access to preventive and restorative dental care is integral to the overall health and well-being of children, said dentist Kim Anderson.
Anderson said children in low-income families that earn less than 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Level have had the most difficulty accessing dental services.
The new dental clinic accepts Medicaid and the State Children's Health Insurance Program.
The clinic has evening hours available and Saturdays by appointment.
