The move indicated the company's determination and promise to long-term development in the country, pointed out persons from the US-based electronic products retail giant, which put its second Mainland China store in Shanghai into operation on August 26, 2008.
The company is scheduled to set up another two outlets in the Chinese mainland this year, aiming to own six stores in Shanghai at the end of 2008.
Moreover, it will further quicken expansion in the Chinese market next year, disclosed Redmond Yeung, president for Best Buy Asia, adding that Best Buy's first China outlet in the Xujiahui Commercial District of Shanghai edged into the Top 50 profit generators among the US electronic products retailer's stores around the world in 2007.
