On Thursday, December 4th, 2008 at 8:00 a.m., Shoppers Drug Mart Corporation (TSX: SC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) will premiere its innovative and exciting new retail beauty store, Murale, in Place Ville Marie in Montreal. This flagship store will be the second Murale location to open in Canada, and will feature an unprecedented assortment of luxury, dermatological, fragrance and niche brands from around the world. It is the first location in Quebec.
On Wednesday, December 3rd from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., an exclusive media preview will be held at the store. Media will have the opportunity to meet with Murale President Shelley Rozenwald and experience a sampling of Murale offerings, including the Benefit Brow Bar, makeup applications, mini facials and hand massages.
<< Media can also schedule interviews with the following individuals: - India Hicks, designer, model, author, and goddaughter of the Prince of Wales. Ms. Hicks will be profiling her newest fragrance, India Hicks Island Night, developed in partnership with Crabtree & Evelyn - Michael Westmore, legendary makeup artist to the stars and winner of an Academy Award for his artistry on the film "Mask" with Cher and Eric Stoltz - Etienne deSwardt, President of Etat Libre d'Orange Parfums. Based in Paris, Mr. deSwardt has developed innovative and unusual fragrances with names like Jasmin & Cigarette and Vrai Blonde (Real Blonde) - Model Monica Olsen, creator of the Skin by Monica signature line for women, men and babies - Alison Raffaele, celebrity makeup artist and originator of an eco-friendly cosmetics line that is all-natural and free of parabens, talc, fragrances, mineral oil and petrolatum >>
The Murale media preview will be held on December 3rd from 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. at Place Ville Marie, 1 Place Ville Marie. Complimentary valet parking is available. A launch party will follow from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.
