Courtney, who was most recently Vice President of LCC International's strategy and business development efforts, has more than 20 years experience in the telecom, wireless, and mobile markets. The mobile industry is one of the most promising emerging markets for TrafficCast's personalized, real-time traffic information.

Demand for accurate traffic information, for both consumer and enterprise applications, is growing significantly in a number of vertical markets, including the mobile GPS and phone industries, Web portals, broadcast media, fleet and logistics, and the public sector.

Prior to LCC International, Courtney held numerous executive sales, business development and sales management positions at Wireless Faculties Incorporated (WFI), a wireless engineering consulting company. His background also includes more than ten years at Motorola, Inc. in system engineering, sales, sales management and operations, including leadership positions supporting location based services, hosted and non-hosted applications for the Motorola handset division. Later, as a Vice President for Ericsson, Courtney led the Sprint professional services/backhaul team. He began his career with General Instrument/Jerrold designing cable TV products.
