Fortress International Group Inc announces receipt of multiple contracts

PowerRating -- Fortress International Group Inc (NasdaqCM: FIGI), a provider of
services for planning, design, development and maintenance of
facilities and information infrastructure, revealed yesterday (16
December) that it has been awarded with contracts totalling USD17m.
A
Rubicon Services, a subsidiary of the company, signed construction
management contracts with a new collocation provider customer to build
and renovate two data centre sites in Miami and North Jersey. Three
other contracts valued at around USD1.5m, have been separately awarded
to Rubicon to provide mechanical and electrical upgrades to a national
telecommunications company's data centre site in Northern New Jersey.
The projects are funded and are to begin immediately.
A
Total Site Solutions, another subsidiary was awarded two separate
contracts, through the Army Corps of Engineers together with a minority
company teaming partner, amounting to USD2m, to provide design and
construction services to upgrade different classified facilities. The
subsidiary received another annual staffing and maintenance contract
for a data centre in Orlando, Florida, to which Fortress had provided
design and retrofit services previously and will now provide on site
engineers to manage the facility, besides services to maintain the
facility infrastructure equipment. This annual contract is around
USD825,000 and is expected to rise with occupancy increase.
