Employees will be able to receive up to an additional USD1,200 per year if certain performance goals are achieved.
The programme will give employees the opportunity to earn monthly cash bonuses of up to USD100 if the airline achieves a first-place ranking in US Department of Transportation on-time arrival rankings, or USD65 if United achieves a second-place ranking or meets its own stated goal.
US salaried and management employees and many of United's international represented employees will participate in a separate incentive programme partly based on an annual financial objective.
