F2695 is a proprietary selective norepinephrine and serotonin reuptake inhibitor that is being developed by Pierre Fabre for the treatment of depression and other central nervous system disorders. A Under the terms of the agreement Forest will make an upfront payment of USD75m to Pierre Fabre, as well as future, undisclosed milestone payments. Pierre Fabre will also receive royalty payments based on F2695 sales. A In addition, Forest will oversee the clinical development and commercialisation of F2695 in the United States and Canada. Pierre Fabre will fund all preclinical development and drug substance manufacturing activities worldwide.
