"We are talking to our clients but they haven't agreed yet," said Ting Yang, an investor relations manager at the company.
Yang said the effects from the recent industry-wide cut in production were being felt and some computer vendors were also increasing demand for memory chips.
But Yang said it was still too early to say if demand would pick up significantly and if the price increase would continue in the coming months.
