In December 2008 Hawaiian Airlines reported a decrease in revenue passenger miles of 0.4% compared to the same period of the previous year, while available seat miles rose by 2.8%, resulting in a load factor of 79.5%, a fall of 2.6 percentage points.
Revenue passenger miles for the fourth quarter 2008 dropped by 5.6% compared to the fourth quarter 2007, while available seat miles showed an increase of 1.9%, resulting in a load factor of 80.4%, a decrease of 6.4 percentage points.
Full-year 2008 revenue passenger miles fell by 2.5% compared to the previous year while available seat miles increased by 3.0%. The load factor for 2008 was 82.6%, down 4.7 percentage points from 2007.
