As the only scheduled air fare offering made available to mark this auspicious occasion, US Helicopter chief executive officer and president Jerry Murphy said "We feel this special fare will be a small contribution to stimulating the economy as it will appeal to a broad base of business travelers and save them valuable time getting to and from the airport." Since its inception in March 2006, US Helicopter's scheduled service affords business travelers countless hours of saved time - giving them a hassle free airport commute. Passengers check-in, receive their boarding pass, check baggage and clear TSA security screening through to their final destination**, all at the heliport. They then board the luxury helicopters and enjoy an eight-minute flight, along with the spectacular sights of the Manhattan skyline, and avoid long lines upon their arrival at the airport.

US Helicopter operates to and from the Delta Terminal at JFK and Continental Airlines Terminal at Newark Liberty Airport. Passengers connecting to Delta or Continental flights can thru-check bags and stay in the 'secure area' upon arrival at the airport. They do not need to go thru security screening again upon arrival at the airport. As a feature of the codeshare partnership between US Helicopter and Delta as well as with Continental, the US Helicopter flight segment is included in certain First Class and Business Class fares offered by these partner airlines.

The following fees are not included: Additional security charges of up to $10.60 may apply per segment - including a $2.50 September 11th Federal Security fee. Bookings by phone will be charged an additional $20.00. $50.00 change fee applies to all changes. This fare is not available from April 6-10, 2009.
