The Double A team of the Colorado Rockies will play its final season at Drillers Stadium, before moving into a downtown ballpark for the 2010 season.
Tulsa will open the 2009 season on the road with a six-game trip to Corpus Christi and San Antonio. The Drillers will play the same two teams in their first homestand, which begins April 16 and will include six games.
Several activities are planned to commemorate the team's 29-year history at Drillers Stadium. Some of the events planned include stadium replicas of the current Drillers Stadiums, exact replica of the Drillers Stadium scoreboard and video board and special commemorative Final Game tickets.
Also planned are 10 post-game fireworks shows and bobble-head giveaways commemorating each decade the Drillers have played baseball in Tulsa.
