Emageon will supply its VERICIS digital PACS and HeartSuite hemodynamics solution for four cath labs. In one of these labs Emageon's Pediatric Echo IMS product will also be installed.
The HeartSuite VERICIS solution will enable MultiCare to digitally process its cardiology PACS studies and cath/echo structured reporting for echocardiography.
Emageon's bi-directional HIS interface also allows MultiCare's scheduled studies, results and reports generated inside VERICIS to be automatically uploaded to the EMR (electronic medical record) when signed off.
MultiCare Health System is a non-profit organisation made up of four hospitals in the Greater Tacoma, Washington area: Allenmore Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Mary Bridge Children's Hospital and Tacoma General Hospital, as well as over 40 primary and urgent care clinics, hospice and home health services and other speciality services clinical areas.
Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
