The dividend will be payable on March 16, 2009. The Board of Directors have finalised a dividend plan for the company under which it intends to pay shareholders a dividend ranging from 20 per cent to 40 per cent of the company profits annually.
"We are extremely pleased to be in a position to announce our maiden annual divided. Despite the tough economic conditions, our continued earnings growth has enabled us to provide an additional return to our investors and employees as an acknowledgement of the value they bring to iGAte," iGate Corporation Chief Finance Officer Sujit Sircar said in a release here.
