Net sales amounted to SEK15,991m, down from SEK16,134m in the previous year.
Diluted earnings per share amounted to SEK3.29, down from SEK5.50 in 2007.
Nobia said that it has seen a gradual weakening of the kitchen market throughout the year, beginning in the Nordic new-build market and spreading to the renovation segment in all of its markets.
The company has initiated measures to simplify and improve the efficiency of its operations.
Nobia, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, is Europe's leading kitchen company with manufacturing and sales operations in 10 countries. The company's brands include Magnet in the UK, HTH in the Nordic region, Hygena in France and Poggenpohl internationally. Nobia has 9,000 employees.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 12.03 Swedish kronor (SEK).
