The site will be limited to real estate for sale, not properties being leased or rented. It will initially post information about 100 properties. Users will be guided to it from the home page of the company's Shufoo! electronic leaflet site.
Browsing the site will be free and will allow users to search by type of property, desired location or price. Information on each property will include floor plan diagrams and photos of exteriors.
Advertisers that post one leaflet per month will be charged a fee of 5,500 yen (US$59.88) per month plus 25 yen per page view.
Toppan Printing will encourage use of the site by homebuilders and real estate sales companies. It hopes to attract 60 companies in fiscal 2009 and 150 firms listing 1,500 properties by fiscal 2011.
