Microsoft and Red Hat form virtualization alliance
RHAT | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Microsoft has signed an agreement with Red Hat to enable increased interoperability between the companies' virtualization platforms.
Windows Server will now be able to run as a guest operating system on Red Hat's virtualization platform, and Red Hat's Enterprise Linux OS can run on Microsoft's Windows virtualization platform.
The agreement does not contain any patent or open source license components and has no financial clauses.
