BRIEF: Woman receives probation
RAD | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- A 43-year-old Maben woman who pleaded guilty to conspiracy in Raleigh County Circuit Court received a one-to-five-year suspended sentence Thursday with 18 months' probation.
Assistant prosecutor Andy Demlich told Judge H.L. Kirkpatrick that Patricia Lynn Tilley's plea stemmed from November 2006 when she and her boyfriend forged a prescription, which he had stolen from a doctor's office, and received 90 generic Percocet tablets from Rite Aid on Harper Road.
Kirkpatrick urged Tilley to be on her best behavior during the next 18 months in order to avoid reappearing for a probation revocation.
