On 12 February 2008, Clark Holdings Inc, the former Global Logistics Acquisition Corporation, acquired the Clark Group Inc. The results of operations for the quarter and annual periods ended 3 January 2009 and 31 December 2007 are non-GAAP pro-forma financial statements. It is presented as if the acquisition of the Clark Group Inc by Clark Holdings Inc took place on 1 January 2007 for comparative purposes.
Gross revenues during the fourth quarter increased 12.2% to USD21.3m, compared to gross revenues of USD19m in the same period last year. Domestic gross revenue increased 11.0% while international gross revenue increased 18.7%. Consolidated gross profit increased 5.8% to USD7.4m, compared to USD7m in the same period last year. This was driven by a 5.5% increase in domestic gross profit and a 7.0% increase in international.
Pro-forma adjusted EPS was USD0.03 in the fourth quarter of 2008 compared to pro-forma adjusted EPS of USD0.03 in the fourth quarter of 2007.
Gross revenues increased 11% in 2008 to USD84.2m, compared to gross revenues of USD75.8m in 2007. This was driven by a 10.2% increase in domestic revenues and a 15.0% increase in international revenues. Consolidated gross profit in 2008 increased 2.4% to USD29.5m driven by a 3.4% increase in domestic gross profit.
Pro-forma adjusted EPS for 2008 was USD0.26 compared to pro-forma adjusted EPS of USD0.22 in 2007.
