TechWave Goes Global as Sybase Adds Multiple Locations to Its Annual User Conference

In today's economic climate, many companies, including Sybase(R)
customers, are facing restrictions on travel and non-critical
expenditures. In addition, a significant percentage of TechWave
attendees represent countries outside of North America. To help address
these factors, Sybase has decided to move to a global regional
conference model and bring its user conference closer to its customers.

"Sybase is doing what all tech marketers need to do right now: be
nimble, opportunistic, and change-oriented. IDC research shows that, in
general, customers prefer more intimate, localized events," said Richard
Vancil, Vice President, Executive Advisory Group, IDC.

to make it easier for them to attend, we have decided to take our user
