Jafra Cosmetics International names president and CEO

Mar 05, 2009 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- CSNJ | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- US-based Jafra Cosmetics International has appointed Friedrich Kroos as president and CEO of the company.

In his new role, Mr Kroos reports directly to the executive board of Vorwerk, parent company of Jafra, and is responsible for the overall management of Jafra. Working closely with the Jafra management board, Mr Kroos will oversee the development and implementation of Jafra's ongoing business strategies.

Mr Kroos came to Jafra in March 2007 as senior vice president of worldwide operations and business development. Shortly after joining Jafra he assumed, as well, responsibility for the European markets. Prior to joining Jafra, he worked for 12 years in various management level positions within the Vorwerk Group.
