According to the company, the Classified Mineral Resource estimate is quoted at a cut-off grade of 0.30 grams per tonne gold and consists of an indicated resource of 363,000 ounces at an average grade of 2.35 g/t gold (4,808,000 tonnes) and an inferred resource of 459,000 ounces at an average grade of 1.63 g/t gold (8,780,000 tonnes). A The resource estimate is based largely on drilling from the 2008 field season, during which time 164 holes (24,700 metres) were completed at Long Canyon. The resource is 100% comprised of oxide gold and is characterised by wide intervals of at- or near-surface, high-grade, gold mineralisation and remains open in all directions, including to depth.
