The group, who spoke through its chairman, Hon. Isa Babayo, while briefing newsmen after its state council meeting held at Obunna Royal Hotel in the state capital, stated that although the governor is yet to make a formal declaration to that effect, the fact is that they are in full support of any move that will actualise their dream aimed at providing more developmental projects in the state.
He said the call on Governor Yuguda to join the main stream politics of Nigeria became necessary just to enable the state benefit more from the developmental programmes initiated by the governor that lack subordinates to implement.
He explained that if Malam Isa Yuguda decides to answer their call, the new PDP in the state will be more focused than ever before to ensure that it enjoys the Federal Government patronage in all spheres of development.
Hon Isa Babayo pointed out that they decided to call for the meeting which was attended by the representatives of all the local government councils in the state to brainstorm on the way forward for the party, especially with the joining of the Bauchi State governor to the mainstream of the administration at the federal level.
