CDC Software announces launch of new ERP system

ry of CDC Corporation (CHINA.NASDAQ) recently announced the launch of
Ross ERP version 6.3.2, the latest version of its enterprise resource
planning (ERP) application solution that helps chemical manufacturers
comply to recent international regulations.

The new version of Ross ERP could automatically manage, handle and
provide documentation that helps chemical companies comply with Regist
ration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical Substanc
es (REACH), a legislation set by the European Union (EU) that came int
o effect in June 2007.

This new ERP solution not only helps EU companies maintain complian
ce with REACH, but assists U.S .and other non-EU companies to comply w
ith the related legislation in their countries.

Alan MacLamroc, global chief product and technology officer of CDC
Software, noted that this new ERP system is one of the cheapest soluti
ons that help chemical manufacturers balance their operational costs a
nd margins, streamline the compliance to REACH and minimize the financ
ial and risk impact on their profit.
