In his previous role as Chief Restructuring Officer, Roth led the Scottish Re transition program focused on operational effectiveness and has been a member of the Scottish Re Executive Committee. Prior to joining Scottish Re in May 2007, Roth worked with Cerberus Capital Management on its operations team focused on financial and operational due diligence in the insurance, financial services, media, and information technology industries. His previous experience includes 10 years with the General Electric Company. Roth served as the Manager of Finance for GE Money's personal loan business in Japan and also led GE Money's global capital allocation program in Stamford, CT. Prior to that, Roth spent four years in GE's Corporate Audit Staff, concluding as a Senior Audit Manager leading teams responsible for financial and operational reviews of GE's businesses in North America and Asia.
As Scottish Re's Chief Financial Officer, Roth will lead Scottish Re's global finance function and will be responsible for its financial operations, including accounting and reporting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, taxation, and audit.
