Timothy Lee Greene, 20, of the 300 block of West Street in Anniston, was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary.
He broke down the rear door of the Western Sizzlin' in Oxford at 12:08 a.m. and an alarm went off, Sgt. L.G. Owens said.
Officer Jake Durham found the door open and began to search the building, Owens said.
Officer John Friend and Sgt. Sam LeFoy arrived shortly thereafter and helped search the building, Owens said.
The three officers found Greene hiding in the storage freezers of the building, Owens said. Bond and a court date were not set Monday.
