Since January 2006, Asustek, HP, Casio, Fujitsu, Sony, Nikon, Seiko Epson, Pentax, Olympus, Kenwood, Agilent, Lexmark, Schneider Electric, NEC Corp., Funai Electric, SanDisk, Sharp Corp., Nokia, Bull, LEGO, DMP Electronics, Denso Wave, TEAC, Daewoo Electronics, WMS, Lite-On IT, Alpine, Verigy, Humax, Psion, Tokyo Electron, DIRECTV, Mattel, AMO, Citizen, Gerber Scientific, Emerson Radio, RIM, Onkyo, Hoya, Robert Bosch, Audiovox, and Rockwell Automation have all purchased MMP Portfolio licenses.
The Moore Microprocessor Patent Portfolio contains intellectual property that is jointly owned by the privately-held TPL Group and publicly-held Patriot Scientific Corp.. The MMP Portfolio includes seven U.S. patents as well as their European and Japanese counterparts. It is widely recognized that the MMP Portfolio protects fundamental technology used in microprocessors, microcontrollers, digital signal processors (DSPs), embedded processors and system-on-chip (SoC) devices.
