Magneti Marelli's telematics product offering with the integrated Sierra Wireless MC5727V embedded module is now available to Ford customers as part of the Ford Work Solutions system, providing high-speed internet access, location based services, and fleet tracking and management capabilities, said Sierra Wireless.
James Rosseau, president and CEO for Magneti Marelli Electronic Systems North America, said: "By integrating Sierra Wireless's 3G embedded modules and firmware features into our telematics products and navigation solutions for automotive applications, we can be assured our customers are receiving the most reliable, advanced products available on the market today."
