Oriental Land reports record visitors to Tokyo Disney parks in FY 2008
OLCLF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Oriental Land Co. said Wednesday the number of visitors to its Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea entertainment resorts came to a new record of 27,221,000 in fiscal 2008 that ended Tuesday, up 7.1 percent from the previous year.
Tokyo Disneyland attracted visitors with special events to mark its 25th anniversary, the theme park operator said.
Oriental Land is projecting that the number of visitors in fiscal 2009 will decline to 25-26 million amid the economic slowdown.
