Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que Opens New Restaurant in Times Square in New York City

O'Donnell today announced that Famous Dave's newest award-winning BBQ
restaurant has opened in Times Square in New York City. The restaurant
is located on 47th St. between 6th and 7th
Avenues, putting Famous Dave's hickory smokers and down-home barbeque
side-by-side with the bright lights and glitz of Broadway. Famous Dave's
has over 170 locations in 37 states, with the newest restaurant marking
its Manhattan debut.

"Times Square in New York City is one of the most iconic destinations in
the world, and Famous Dave's is wildly honored to be part of the
excitement in this capital of entertainment and dining," said
Christopher O'Donnell, President and CEO of Famous Dave's.

Sammy Benmoha is the owner and operator of the new Famous Dave's
franchise in New York City. Mr. Benmoha owns and operates Maxie's
Delicatessen and, in partnership with his father Jacob, the Roxy
Delicatessen. Both restaurants are located in the heart of Times Square.
Sammy Benmoha, who has owned restaurants for more than 15 years, grew up
in the restaurant business. His father Jacob, who also owns and operates
BenAsh Delicatessen in Times Square, has a long history in the
restaurant industry.

"Sammy is one of the great restaurateurs of New York, making him a
fantastic partner to launch our brand in Manhattan," said O'Donnell.
Sammy Benmoha said, "Famous Dave's is a fantastic restaurant concept,
and I've been very excited about bringing it into the vibrancy of Times
Square. It was a great feeling to open the doors and start serving our
guests."

The new Famous Dave's is approximately 12,000 square feet and can seat
up to 280 guests, making it the largest Famous Dave's BBQ
restaurant in the country. "Everything is bigger in New York, and that's
one of the things we love about it," said O'Donnell. "Visitors to the
new Famous Dave's will find that we do barbeque in a big way."

Famous Dave's has won over 300 awards for everything from best ribs to
best BBQ sauce to best cookbook. Famous

country, and has raked in 1st place awards at the Best in the West
