Purio's Showcase Event Caps Spectacular Results With Letter of Intent for the Purchase of Multiple Units
VANCOUVER, BC - Apr 7, 2009 -- Daryl English, President of Purio Inc. (OTCBB:PURO.OB), today advised that visitors to Purio's Showcase event located adjacent to the Campbell River airport in British Columbia, Canada were shown a real time demonstration of Purio's compact design water purification system.
The unit was showcased in its most challenging environment, that of reclaiming and processing sewage effluent into water that was safe for discharge. Mr. English went on to say that "the event was attended by local developers as well as by international visitors." Chairman Earl Switenky said that "the success of the event has prompted me to begin planning another one in the coming months. The fact that people have traveled from around the globe to see our technology in action speaks volumes to the world wide need for effective, efficient and economic water solutions. Feedback from the visitors confirmed that the technology met and even exceeded their expectations."
The event was capped off with the signing of a letter of intent with a residential development company from Sierra Leone, West Africa. "The expandable system will be designed to service up to 500 homes initially providing both potable water and sewage treatment. We will have a preliminary design and cost estimates complete within the next few weeks and we will provide our shareholders with an update as appropriate then," said Maurice Swanson, Vice President of Operations.
