BJ's has teamed up with Zip Express Installation to provide installation of tabletop or wall-mounted TVs and Home Theater systems of any brand or size. Zip, which has installers nationwide, provides a one-hour arrival window, will recycle the old TV for free (a $70 value) and can install on brick surfaces.
As Graduation and Father's Day approaches, BJ's new installation service is an attractive addition to the gift of a large-screen TV. BJ's offers value and savings on a wide assortment of name-brand TVs, as well as accessories including mounts and tables.
"Partnering with Zip Installation's services helps to give our Members another great benefit of shopping at BJ's," said Mathew Rubin, VP of Specialty Business at BJ's Wholesale Club. "We are providing Members with a convenient and affordable service that includes a network of certified, insured and reliable installers."
Zip Express Installation is a competitively priced option for Members who might try to handle installation themselves because it is otherwise too expensive, Rubin said. And Zip's insured and certified installers offer reassurance to homeowners who resist hiring services because they are fearful of damage. If a Member is not satisfied, the installer will not be paid until the job meets his or her approval.
Udo Lang, a Philadelphia resident, bought a new 47-inch Philips TV on a Thursday and had it mounted on his wall Saturday. Hanging the unwieldy 100-pound television himself wasn't an option. The size didn't pose a problem for the ZIP installers, though. "They were very good," Lang said. "They knew what they were doing and they cleaned up. That's the way I like it." The installers also removed and disposed of his old television for no charge.
Members can purchase Zip Express Installation vouchers from BJ's electronics section and then arrange an appointment for the next day or within five days. Members can schedule service by calling 800-383-9048 or visiting www.zipinstallation.com/bjs. They must have their voucher and BJ's receipt to schedule service. Members must supply cables and mounts needed for the installation and also can choose to have the cables for their Home Theater systems concealed.
