It said last week that it has identified eight zones of RA¶ssing-style uranium mineralisation and is in the process of extending the size of these zones.
Highlights of the 12-hole programme include 92 metres of uranium mineralisation encountered in the Aluriesfontein Area 3 with aggregate U3O8 grades greater than 100 parts per million, of which a width of 41 metres grading 160.5 ppm and with one metre sections with U3O8 mineralisation as high as 609 ppm.
Xemplar's strategy entails exploration drilling to identify additional zones of mineralisation, drilling to extend the size of the eight zones of mineralisation that has been discovered at Aluriesfontein and Big Yellow, and definition drilling to define a resource at one or more of the zones of mineralisation it has identified.
