Gallagher joined Hudson in 2002, and has served as executive vice president of underwriting for specialty programs since that time. He succeeds Jim Migliorini, who has retired.
Chris Suarez has been named executive vice president and chief underwriting officer of the U.S. Insurance Division. Suarez joined Odyssey Re in 1998, and has held a variety of senior positions. Since 2002, Chris has been responsible for Odyssey Re?s facultative division, based in New York.
Odyssey Reinsurance Group currently has a Best's Financial Strength Rating of A (Excellent).
Odyssey's stock was trading at $40.53 a share on the morning of April 9, up 0.37% from the previous close.
