Air Berlin names new executive director
AIBEF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Air Berlin has named Christoph Debus to its board of executive directors, effective June 1, 2009. He will take over responsibility for sales, network and IT.
Previously Mr Debus had been managing director at another airline, Condor, where he was responsible for IT, controlling, personnel, bookkeeping, accounting and finance for four years.
Mr Debus's position at Condor also meant that he was a member of the airline executive board of Thomas Cook Group. From March 1998 to the end of 2004 Mr Debus was employed by Roland Berger Management Consultants.
Joachim Hunold, CEO of Air Berlin, said: "We are pleased to have gained a proven aviation expert in Christoph Debus."
