Balas will report to James McLaughlin, Ameron's Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer.
Balas will have responsibility for the Company's accounting policies, financial controls and financial reporting, including preparation of financial filings to the SEC. In addition, Balas will be involved in financial planning and operational analysis.
Balas' most-recent position was Chief Financial Officer for Solar Integrated Technologies in Los Angeles, California. Prior to joining Solar Integrated Technologies, Jim held senior management and auditing positions with Keystone Automotive Industries, Capgemini and Ernst & Young, LLP in Southern California.
Ameron International Corp. is a multinational manufacturer of highly-engineered products and materials for the chemical, industrial, energy, transportation and infrastructure markets.
