New Horizons Worldwide Reorganizing in England and Scotland

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., Apr 20, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- NEWH | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Effective April 9, 2009, New Horizons Worldwide has terminated the franchise agreements of Thunderbay, Ltd and its associated companies. This group operated seven New Horizons locations in England and Scotland, namely London, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.

We are pleased to announce that we will re-open in the U.K. within the next 60 days, commencing with a London training center which will be directly owned and operated by our worldwide company, and will service London and the other affected markets. We will keep the public informed as these plans progress.
