SERVICEOperations, a hosted software and services solution will be delivered via Software as a Service (SaaS). Companies covered by warranty or regular service request are able to take appointments efficiently from their consumers, delegate the work to the network of independent service contractors and then process the payments for claims servicing.
The three contract customers will use a hosted version of the ServicePower technology for the duration of their contracts, paying a monthly transaction fee. The SaaS delivery model permits clients to lower expenses and the demands on existing IT resources, reducing the overall cost of the service. The contracts will not have a material impact on the current financial period.
GEC&I is a supplier of consumer appliance and a customer and partner of ServicePower for many years, renewing its original agreement that covered repair work within its appliance division in the US.A A A provider of after-market and field services supporting customer full supply chain requirements, Flextronics has signed an agreement with ServicePower to provide scheduling, dispatch and claims services to launch in May, to several divisions worldwide.
SERVICEOperations will be used by another supplier of extended service plans, wireless protection and home warranty programmes, to improve the efficiency of service providers within its network. The project is ongoing at present.
