Muskogee Community Hospital Goes Live with Anesthesia Information Technology from DocuSys
CPSI | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- DocuSys,
Inc., a leading anesthesia information management system (AIMS),
medication management, and presurgical care management system provider,
teamed up with Computer Programs and Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CPSI), a
leading provider of healthcare information solutions, to successfully
install DocuSys' anesthesia solution at Muskogee
Community Hospital (MCH) in Muskogee, Oklahoma. MCH, a physician
owned facility with 45 licensed patient rooms, recently completed
construction on their green
hospital and opened their doors to the public. MCH is the first
health care facility in the nation to get an energy star award from the
EPA and Department of Energy.
"At Muskogee Community Hospital our philosophy is to leverage
technology in order to gain efficiencies so as to allow doctors and
nurses to do what they are supposed to do - provide care to patients.
By choosing DocuSys as our anesthesia technology partner we have
accomplished just that!" says Anesthesia Director at Muskogee Community
Hospital, Ronald S. Stevens D.O. "In dealing with the DocuSys
organization, impressively, it has felt more like dealing with a partner
who is interested in our success, not a vendor who wants to get out the
door as soon as possible. I highly recommend other hospitals consider
DocuSys as their anesthesia technology solution."
"We are proud to partner with MCH and contribute to their efforts of
going almost completely digital. DocuSys' AIMS will provide MCH with an
electronic medical record of the anesthetic case and will help
streamline their perioperative process in the OR," said DocuSys
President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Robert Watson. "We
appreciate the opportunity to team up with CPSI at MCH and look forward
to working together on future projects."
