Brian D. Quinn has been appointed Chief Underwriting Officer of North American Reinsurance Operations. With more than 28 years of reinsurance industry experience, Mr. Quinn has been with the Company since 1994, serving as Executive Vice President of Odyssey America's U.S. Casualty Treaty operations since 2000. In his new capacity, Mr. Quinn will report to Brian D. Young, Chief Operating Officer.
Patrick E. Gentile has been appointed to lead Odyssey America's U.S. Casualty Treaty operations, and will report to Brian Quinn. Mr. Gentile, Executive Vice President, joined Odyssey America in 1986, and has over 30 years of industry experience. During his tenure with the Company, Mr. Gentile has had senior underwriting responsibility for Professional Liability, Medical Malpractice and Accident & Health.
Thomas C. Bredahl, Executive Vice President of Odyssey America, has been named to manage the Company's U.S. Casualty Facultative operations. He will report to Brian Quinn. Mr. Bredahl has 19 years of reinsurance industry experience, and has held a number of senior positions within Odyssey America's treaty casualty operations since joining the Company in 1998.
