We have identified Internet services as being one of those few sectors that appear to be "recession-resistant." In fact, according to a recent eWeeks.com report, "A new survey shows Internet voice services topping the list of industries that are DEFYING THE RECESSION. With a projected revenue growth of 20.1 percent, VOIP services easily outdistance e-commerce and online auctions."
Now, our new idea has been having a LOT of new investors trading the stock lately. Just look at the volume chart from last week and you'll see it was a record week for them and the stock was very volatile - and a lot of great trading opportunities too.
Because the stock has been moving around a lot, it is has been placed the "phone orders only" list at several online brokers. So, if you go to some online brokers and try to buy the stock you will be prompted to call a broker directly. It only takes a couple extra minutes to do this and there should be no added charge over the online price. When you sell you should be able to place sell orders directly online if you prefer.
This is a small inconvenience to be sure, but we think if you like a stock enough this a small sacrifice. Now on to today's trading idea.
