IKON Office Solutions Organizational Diversity Council Recognized as One of the Top 25 in the U.S.

The award was created by the Association of Diversity Councils, a division of PRISM International, Inc., to honor the achievements of diversity councils that lead the diversity process in their organizations. Applicants were evaluated on contributions and achievements in four categories: 1) Demonstrated Council Results; 2) Demonstrated Management Commitment; 3) Measurement and Accountability; and 4) Communication and Education. Councils reported results of their contributions to business results, talent management, as well as gaining involvement of senior leaders and middle managers.

IKON's corporate diversity council was formed to help build and promote diversity within IKON, and to ensure that the company reflects the communities in which it does business. Consisting of employees from across IKON, the council focuses on several key initiatives relating to diversity, including: recruiting, training, mentoring, supplier diversity and affirmative action.

In addition, IKON has created local diversity councils that foster diversity through building relationships with customers and creating key partnerships with community-based organizations through job fairs, mentoring programs and career events.
