May 7, 2009 Franklin Mining, Inc. (FMNJ) (Frankfurt:FMJ.F) CEO William Petty has extended his visit to Bolivia to include additional meetings with representatives of an international investment bank scheduled to arrive in Santa Cruz late in the week of May 11, 2009.
"Planning is still in an early stage, but I am pleased and excited that progress made at our Escala and Turiri projects has attracted the interest of a major international investor," said Mr. Petty. "Meetings between our two companies over the past several weeks and a series of teleconferences earlier this week resulted in advancing the date for our potential financial backers to visit Franklin's Santa Cruz and La Paz offices as well as tour work sites."
